i just made this. it was delicious. it’s an avocado dip. (i’m on an avocado kick lately). i’ll give you the recipe, even though i don’t measure and even though i have no fucking clue on proportions. use your good judgment. :)
ps: i’ve made dips similar to this before and they’re great as spreads on lettuce wraps/grain-free tacos: take whole romaine leaves, a dollop of this avocado spread, then fill it with nuts and seeds and veggies (or, meat/fish, if you’re so inclined). it’s grain-free, dairy-free and nutrient-dense. very good too.
ingredients:
(makes about 3 servings)
two avocados
sea salt
the juice of 1/4 lemon
one small celery stalk
olive oil (a good olive oil)
garlic powder (a few dashes. fresh garlic would be good too. i was too lazy to chop it.)
dried dill (i have no clue how much. if i had to guess, i’d say somewhere between one and two tablespoons)
1/3 of a raw onion
basically you just whip that shit up in a food processor, while slowly streaming in the olive oil. i blended mine until smooth, then served it with strips of raw green bell pepper. yum.
