snack before lunch: celery juice. four stalks celery, juiced. i added a scoop of hemp powder to mine (not required, but it does contain omega 3’s, iron, zinc, protein, and other vitamins and minerals: B6, E, C, calcium, magnesium, potasssium).

celery is well-known for it’s detoxification abilities. it is a natural source of sodium, B vitamins, folic acid, Vitamin C, fiber, and water.  it also contains phytochemicals known as coumarins, which have been implicated in cancer prevention, stimulate certain white blood cells, help to maintain electrolyte balance, lower blood pressure, and even alleviate muscle pain in some people.
